I've been wanting to do a good horror comic for a while now, but was a little wary of collaborating with just anybody. Lucky for me, my cousin's a prolific writer. So I picked out one of her short stories to work around (https://www.deviantart.com/ilyilaice/art/FFM-2014-6-Social-Studies-465945142) and got started on adapting it. It was challenging learning how to properly pace the story, but hopefully it turned out okay. Either way, it was a great learning experience all around!
